Sandwiches
Frita Cubana
We could say that this is our version of a smash burger. Turns out Cubans have been smashing burgers for close to a century. In the 1920’s some culinary cuban genius decided to upgrade the american burger with a patty of ground beef and pork seasoned with plenty of spanish paprika and other spices. Not satisfied, they smothered it in a zesty red sauce that flutters the tongue with hints of sour, heat and a slight sweetness that cuts through the fattiness of the burger. Still not done, they piled on some juliane potatoes and sold them in the streets of Cuban cities from their food carts to the delight of passers by who indulged in the savory sandwich as they went about their daily lives.$15.00Pan con Bistec
